Mar 2019

TWM Live! welcomes West Country folk-rock duo Sound Of The Sirens to Colchester on Thursday 21st March 2019 as part of a 21-date UK tour. Their live shows combine a natural facility for connecting with their audiences and unforgettable performances with warmth, humour and, above all, real conviction.

Already championed by Chris Evans who declared himself blown away when he heard Sound of the Sirens for the first time, and subsequently invited them to perform alongside U2 and Take That on TFI Friday. The Sound Of Sirens also have supported Rick Astley and Kiefer Sutherland on tour and have played Glastonbury Festival, Camp Bestival, Isle of Wight Festival,Big Feastival, Jimmys Farm, Beautiful Days and Greenbelt.

Joined on the night by Colchester alt-rock duo Ghosts Of Men with something a little different and unplugged planned.
Don’t expect slowed down, diluted ballads versions.
DO expect dance/hip-hop driven up-tempo acoustic numbers.
The last 3 years have seen Ghosts Of Men take to over 100 festival stages and countless UK venues, sign a record deal, release two EP’s and an Album as well as 4 cutting edge music videos, constantly building an army of fans nationwide along the way.
Sometimes described as a pair of idiots with the combined mental age of 7, sometimes hailed as geniuses of the genre, it’s fair to say these two leave a lasting impression wherever they go.
“Like a two piece Queens of the Stone Age if Queens of the Stone Age were entirely composed of Morecambe and Wise” – Stuart Turner – Flat Earth Society
2019 holds the bands first extensive European tour, UK and European festivals, several music and video releases and several tasty UK Regional Arts Centre shows.

The Sound Of The Sirens UK tour coincides with the band’s new album, This Time, out January 25th 2019 via DMF Records. This Time the follow-up to their debut album, For All Our Sins, which was released in 2017 to widespread praise continues to showcase an evident gift for crafting unique, vivid and enduring melodies over 15 heartfelt tracks.
