Three Wise Monkeys Event Manager
Salary: Dependent on experience
Status: full time role
As Event Manager you will be responsible for a successful, profitable events programme at Three Wise Monkeys. Live music will be the mainstay of this, though you will be expected to book events such as comedy, theatre, performance, plus corporate and private hire functions.
This will be achieved by booking shows yourself with agents, or directly with bands, and building strong relationships to make sure they see Three Wise Monkeys as their first choice
You will be managing the respective floor during events, ensuring the smooth running of all operations including bar and front of house duties.
You will be acting as the key point of contact for to both visiting artists and the public on the night. At all times you will work to ensure the highest levels of customer service are promoted and a safe environment for staff, artists, and audiences are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities
Booking successful, profitable shows with agents, or directly with bands.
To act as the Event Manager working closely with Bar Staff, Front of House, Sound Technician, Security, Artist(s) or External Contacts if a private hire, both in the build up to an event and on the night.
To coordinate and supervise Bar Staff and Front of House staff as required.
To act as the key point of contact on the night.
To understand and implement compliance at all times with the Three Wise Monkeys licensing requirements and Health and Safety policy; ensuring adequate risk assessment and management is in place for events.
To ensure all pre-agreed details from artist contracts or private hire agreements are met and pre-agreed rider requests (where applicable) are provided.
To ensure effective running of the Bar, maximising sales.
To oversee cash-handling and end of day cash-up for both Box Office, Door Sales and Bar Sales.
To perform settlements and create final event costings including P&L’s to distribute internally.
To produce weekly reports recording event feedback, band enquires and function enquiries.
